Could the Wilson sisters end up at Mar-a-Lago? It’s one of the ideas Marlon Wayans has already discussed with his brother Shawn for a possible White Chicks 2. More than two decades after the original comedy introduced audiences to two FBI agents disguised as wealthy socialites, the brothers are still considering where their outrageous characters might go next.
In a June 2026 interview with Variety, Marlon revealed that he had discussed the Florida setting with his older brother, although he wasn’t convinced it was the right choice. He also floated the possibility of a Christmas-themed sequel. Neither idea has been announced as an actual film, but the conversation offers a glimpse into how the Wayans brothers are approaching a potential return.
The renewed interest follows their reunion for Scary Movie 6, which arrived in theaters in June 2026. Earlier in the year, Marlon and Shawn suggested that the response to that film could influence whether White Chicks 2 moves forward. For now, the sequel remains a possibility rather than a confirmed production.

Why the Wayans Brothers Are Considering White Chicks 2
The possibility of revisiting White Chicks has been circulating for years, but the brothers have recently become more specific about what would make a sequel possible.
In February 2025, Marlon Wayans told Good Morning America that fans continued asking him about the film. At the time, he suggested that finishing the new Scary Movie would come first, leaving room to revisit the comedy afterward.
By June 2026, the conversation had moved toward potential settings and story ideas. Marlon’s suggestion of a holiday-themed film would offer a different backdrop for the characters, while the Florida concept could place them in an environment far removed from the Hamptons society they infiltrated in the original.
The brothers have not revealed a completed screenplay, and their public comments leave open which direction, if any, they might pursue.
Why the Original White Chicks Still Has an Audience
Released in 2004, White Chicks followed FBI agents Marcus and Kevin Copeland, played by Marlon and Shawn Wayans, as they went undercover by impersonating two wealthy sisters.
The disguises were deliberately outrageous, creating a comedy built around mistaken identities, extravagant social events, and the increasingly difficult task of keeping the brothers’ cover intact.
One of the film’s most recognizable moments involves Terry Crews performing Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.” The scene has enjoyed a long afterlife online, introducing the comedy to viewers who may not have encountered it during its original theatrical release.
The movie received largely unfavorable reviews from critics, but its later popularity demonstrates how differently audiences can respond to a comedy over time. Its exaggerated characters and memorable scenes have remained familiar through online clips and popular culture references.
For a potential sequel, that recognition offers a starting point. The challenge would be finding a story that gives the characters something new to do rather than simply recreating their most familiar jokes.
Could the Original Characters Work in a New Setting?
Part of the appeal of White Chicks comes from how completely Marcus and Kevin lose control of their undercover assignment.
The original film places them in a world of wealthy socialites, elaborate beauty routines, designer wardrobes, and social rivalries. Their attempts to navigate that environment produce much of the comedy.
Moving the characters into a different setting could give the writers new situations to explore. A Christmas story, for example, would introduce holiday gatherings and family expectations, while a Florida setting could create a different social world for the brothers to infiltrate.
Those possibilities remain ideas rather than confirmed plot details.
There is also the question of how the film’s humor would translate to contemporary audiences. The original was released before Instagram, TikTok, and the current culture of influencers, all of which have changed how celebrity, wealth, and personal image are presented.
Whether the Wayans brothers would incorporate those changes into a sequel is unknown, but they would have plenty of contemporary material to draw from.

Is White Chicks 2 Officially Happening?
As of October 2026, White Chicks 2 has not received a publicly confirmed production start or release date.
The brothers’ return to Scary Movie has nevertheless made the possibility more interesting. That film reunited members of the original cast and brought the Wayans family back to a franchise they helped establish.
It also performed strongly at the box office, earning more than $230 million worldwide. Since the brothers previously connected the possibility of White Chicks 2 to the success of Scary Movie 6, that result provides a relevant development, although it does not amount to approval for another film.
For now, audiences have two things to go on: the Wayans brothers remain interested, and they have already begun discussing possible directions.
Whether the Wilson sisters ever return to the screen is another matter. But the thought of Marcus and Kevin attempting another undercover transformation is enough to make the prospect of White Chicks 2 entertaining before a single scene has been filmed.
